DESKTOP PUBLISHING

Desktop publishing has made it possible for even the smallest businesses to produce brochures, flyers, newsletters, letterheads, business cards and other promotional materials that just two decades ago would have been out of their reach. Unfortunately, many small businesses don’t have the expertise to take advantage of desktop publishing. WET Ink Solutions can help you with all your desktop publishing needs. We and our partners can produce both the professional design, logos, graphic arts and the text for just about anything you want to print.

We also can coordinate your printed materials with your Web site to make sure you are presenting a coherent, consistent and cohesive message to your customers.

One marketing tool that is growing in favor with larger businesses is the newsletter, delivered by e-mail or by regular mail. We can help you start your newsletter and produce it on a regular basis.

Here are some of the things we do:

Brochures — the brochure, in a variety of formats, is a time-tested tool for marketing. It allows a business to present a wealth of information in a colorful, concise manner that is not possible in a cover letter or even a face-to-face meeting. Brochures are easy to distribute by mail or in person at a business meeting. In general, a brochure should carry a single message to its target audience. Because of the cost of production, it should be written to have a long shelf life.

Newsletters — the newsletter was the forerunner of today’s mass circulation newspapers. But far from being supplanted by the medium it spawned, the newsletter format is stronger today than ever before. In business, newsletters keep customers aware of the latest changes in products, services, and even personnel as well providing a variety of other information. A good newsletter strengthens client loyalty by making your clients feel they are a part of the organization. Internal newsletters are effective tools for employee relations.

Flyers — the flyer is usually a single sheet with printing on only one side advertising a specific event or activity. Flyers may be mailed to a customer list, handed out on street corners or at meetings, or posted on bulletin boards. Flyers should be simple, eye-catching and easy to read, with a minimum of words and a single message.

Magazines — The magazine format is useful for some companies that want to provide multiple messages in a single publication. The multi-page magazine format can serve as an expanded, in-depth brochure, or it can be published at regular intervals as a more sophisticated newsletter.
